Slab forms braced, 6" sub slab insulation placed, rebar started

Forms up, squared (not perfect but pretty close), leveled (< 1/4" all around) and braced.  6" sub slab EPS Type 2 insulation placed, 16" OC each way 10M rebar started (in greenhouse) placed on 2" plastic chairs.  6" wire mesh will be placed on top, mainly to hold PEX pipes for in floor hydronic radiant heating, although it will also add to the slab strength (should be a very strong slab).  This will result in the PEX pipes being approximately 2-3" below top of slab (quicker response time).  Placed one of the beams (3 2X10 PT) for the covered porch (middle right) as it is needed to shore up the dirt near the corner of the house.

Rebar chairs close up

Garage Pad raised up 1' (now 1' below main slab) and forms ready to be secured.  Site grading is now pretty decent and should already allow water to flow away from house in most places.  Will use poly and 2" EPS Type 2 insulation under concrete.
